Glass Consultant Visits Stores
Imperial Glass Corporation’s new milk glass consultant, Betty Murrow Belknap, made her first store appearance at Miller & Rhoads, recently. A large newspaper ad, a window display and an interior display all helped promote Imperial Milk Glass in the Richmond, Va. Store. Giving further push to the Miller & Rhoads event were the appearances of Imperial’s president, Carl Gustkey, on local radio stations.
Imperial’s new consultant is the widow of E. McCamly Belknap, who is said to have accumulated the most extensive collection of American handmade milk glass. Imperial has been granted exclusive rights to reproduce any of the authentic milk glass pieces in the collection. Each piece will be identified as a reproduction from this collection.
The firm is currently offering over 200 milk glass pieces.
